The V IT Park Celebrates ‘Healthy Lifestyle & Sports Meet 2011’

Hyderabad, December 16, 2011: The V, an Ascendas IT Park, celebrated its annual sporting extravaganza “Healthy Lifestyle & Sports Meet“.  The five day meet is concluded today.  The event which  kicked off on 12^t is ended today on joyful note.

This event saw participation from over 30 companies and more than 1000+ participants in more than 10 different sporting categories including 100 Meters Sprint, Relay Race, Lemon & Spoon, Three Legged Race, Sack Race, Volleyball, Throw-ball and Tug-of-War.

The sports meet is a popular platform for the IT professionals for taking a break from their work and compete in various sporting disciplines.

This sporting saga continues in the other Ascendas IT Park – CyberPearl in the following week. This event not only promotes camaraderie amongst Parkites but also enhances the work-life-play balance, the key tenet of all Ascendas Parks.

A free health check-up camp was also conducted by Global Hospitals for all the Parkites.
